Sibiel, a traditional village with 400 souls, in the heart of Transylvania. I was born and raised here. A beautiful tranquil village.
We raise sheep, cattle, milk them and make our famous white cheese and not only ... See my costume ? In this area we wear white and black.
Our life is centered around the village church. Father Oancea had in 1969 the idea to start collecting icons painted on glass and with the help of our community and friends he managed to add some 600 incredibly beautiful icons from all over the country, some over 200 years old ! You should visit us on Easter or Pentecost, when horsmen on adorned horses parade the village. Even if for a few hours, come and enjoy our lifestyle!
